At Celebration Creations, we believe in giving back to our community and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. This February, we had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the Entrepreneurship class at Barnegat High School during Black History Month. Stephanie Cofield, owner of Celebration Creations, was invited to share her business journey and insights with the students, sparking creativity and passion for entrepreneurship.
Sharing Our Story
Stephanie shared the inspiring story of Celebration Creations, from humble beginnings to becoming a growing and well known name in the balloon decor industry. Students learned about the challenges and triumphs of running a small business, emphasizing the importance of resilience and perseverance in achieving success.
Exploring Entrepreneurship
During the session, students discussed various aspects of entrepreneurship, including ethics, creativity, adaptability, and the differences between small and large businesses. Stephanie provided valuable insights into crafting resumes and cover letters, developing marketing strategies, and writing comprehensive business plans.
Hands-On Learning
To bring the concepts to life, Stephanie demonstrated the process of creating a mural balloon wall using the school’s logo as inspiration. Students witnessed firsthand the artistry and craftsmanship behind balloon decor, from design conceptualization to installation. It was a hands-on learning experience that sparked creativity and innovation among the students.
