Celebration Creations is thrilled to share that our founder and creative director, Stephanie Cofield-Mixon, has been named Member of the Month by the South Jersey Chapter of BW NICE (Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education).
From her earliest years growing up in North Jersey, Stephanie was drawn to celebrations, design, and anything that brought people joy. That natural energy for parties and connection eventually became a calling. In 1989, Stephanie launched Celebration Creations and began transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary celebrations using the art of balloon décor.
With over 35 years of experience and one of fewer than 2,000 Certified Balloon Artists (CBA) worldwide, Stephanie has built Celebration Creations into a go-to resource for everything from private birthday parties to large-scale corporate installations. Her work has appeared at proms, grand openings, conventions, and charity events, with notable clients including Rutgers University, Walmart, Ronald McDonald House, and the American Heart Association.
Now headquartered in Bayville, New Jersey, Celebration Creations serves clients across the Garden State and beyond. Stephanie’s recent expansion into a larger balloon boutique and design studio is a testament to her creativity, resilience, and heart for service.
But her work doesn’t stop with balloons. Stephanie is also proud to serve as Membership Director for BW NICE Ocean County South, a local chapter of a powerful statewide and national women’s networking organization. BW NICE is dedicated to building connections, supporting professional women, and raising awareness and funds for local domestic violence charities. Each chapter partners with a local shelter or advocacy group—supporting them through monthly donations and events like the Red Shoe™ Luncheon & Fashion Show, which symbolizes unity, strength, and empowerment.
Through BW NICE, Stephanie has found a community of like-minded women who believe in lifting others up, giving back, and creating space for personal and professional growth. As part of this network, she’s not only helped raise funds and gather supplies for survivors of domestic violence but also offered mentorship, inspiration, and support to fellow businesswomen.
If she’s designing a life-size balloon sculpture, coaching a new entrepreneur, or spearheading a charity initiative, Stephanie’s guiding principle remains the same: every day is a day to celebrate.
